Fans of Fractions

Hip, hip, hooray! We are finally on Spring Break!! :) What a great feeling!

We just added a new file to our TPT store...

Students use fraction circles to make jungle animals and then write a recipe for how to make their animal.

Monkeys, tigers, gorillas, oh my!!!
(Yes, there are some non-jungle animals in this picture too! Some students enjoyed this so much they wanted to create a fraction recipe for their pet dog!)
I did this activity with my third graders, but it could be modified for second or fourth graders.

And although this cute little guy is not new to our TPT store...he is a best seller!
Fractions with SpongeBob!!!
I did this lesson with both first and second graders and they both loved it! If your students like SpongeBob...keep checking our blog in the upcoming weeks when we will post additional ideas!

The first two readers who comment on this post will score one of these files for FREE! Don't forget to leave your email address!! :)

Have a great Saturday! :)

Oh my goodness! So I am not one of the first two to comment, but I just did a Lesson using SpongeBob for Character traits! Check it out here, SpongeBob with Miss Snowden , if you would like. :) I wanted my kiddos to make a SpongeBob to go along with their writings but never had time to get one planned out.

I love yours! I'm off to your TPT store!
