Is your little one getting ready to start kindergarten? Are you preparing to jet off to a warm and sunny place for a family vacation? Are you packing up your mouse ears and princess dresses for a trip to Disney? If so, print off these countdown sheets and get ready to get crafty with your hot glue gun for a little countdown fun with your family!
First, find an ending sheet that works for you:
Then, print off the countdown numbers you need:
If you are planning a vacation with little ones, I recommend NOT starting with 50 {that just makes for a very loooong wait!}. Print and cut the numbers you want, stack them in a pile counting backwards with your ending sheet on the bottom, and add a piece of card stock or light cardboard for the backing.
Fold a piece of construction paper a few times
{this will be used to smooth the hot glue}:
I also use this in the classroom when we are counting down the last 26 days of school, ABC Style. I just add the numbers and place the “3rd Grader at Last!” sheet to the back. We rip a sheet off during our morning meeting, then do the activity that goes with the letter of the day.
What kinds of things will you be counting down to this summer? Whatever it is, I hope your wait isn't too long!
